If you’re planning a new website, it’s worth asking the right questions from the start. What do your visitors need? What action should they take? And what does success look like for your business?
At JMJ Digital, we design WordPress websites that are clear, fast and built to convert. Whether you need more leads, more bookings or more credibility online, we shape sites that support real business growth.
It starts with a conversation about what’s not working — and where you want to go next.
Our team specialises in high-performance WordPress website design, guiding you through every stage of the process. Our streamlined approach keeps projects efficient and commercially sensible, without compromising on quality or long-term reliability.
Together, we’ll build a WordPress website that reflects your brand and works harder for your business.
Discovery
In the discovery stage, we focus on understanding your business, your audience and your commercial goals. We review what’s working, what isn’t, and where your website needs to perform better. This gives us clarity on what success looks like and what the website needs to achieve.
Brainstorming
This is where insight turns into direction. We shape the structure of the site, define key user journeys and agree how content should guide people toward action. Everything is planned with purpose, not guesswork.
Web Design
Design is where structure becomes visual. We focus on layout, hierarchy and flow to make the experience clear, intuitive and conversion-led. You’ll see your website take shape before anything is built, with room to refine and improve.
Web Development
This is where the design becomes a working website. Everything is built carefully to ensure speed, stability and consistency with the approved designs. It’s about turning strategy and design into something that performs in the real world.
Testing & Launch
Before launch, we test everything. From usability and responsiveness to performance and tracking, nothing is rushed. When your site goes live, it’s stable, polished and ready to do its job.
We’re based at Blofield Business Centre on Woodbastwick Road, a few minutes east of Norwich, and most of the businesses we work with are within an hour of here — from Hickling Campsite out on the Broads to Caravan Hub across East Anglia, Darby Nursery Stock and L&B here in Norwich. The common thread isn’t a sector, it’s that their website has to earn its keep, not just look tidy.
What being nearby actually gets you: you can sit down with the people building your site, and when something needs doing you’re talking to someone on the same day, not logging a ticket into a queue three time zones away. And once you’re live we don’t disappear — care plan or not, you can pick up the phone. For businesses that want the site kept proactively fast and secure rather than fixed when something breaks, there’s an optional WordPress care plan.
After launch, businesses that need monthly development capacity (not just care/maintenance) can move onto our ongoing WordPress development retainers.
How much does a website cost?
It depends on what you’re building — a focused business website, a larger bespoke site, or an online shop or membership site. Rather than quote a headline figure that could mean anything, we give you a fixed quote for your actual project, with no open-ended bills. What moves the price could be anything from the number of pages and templates, performance expectations, whether you’re selling online or gating content, how bespoke the design is, to how much of the content you’d like us to handle.
How long does it take to build a website?
It depends on the build — a straightforward business site is quick; a bespoke site or an online shop takes longer. The biggest variable isn’t the build itself, it’s how quickly your content comes together, which is why we plan for it from the start. You’ll get a realistic timeline alongside your quote.
Do you only build WordPress websites?
Almost always, yes — it’s what we specialise in, and it’s why we’re good at it. WordPress gives you a site you can update yourself and full ownership of everything we build. If it genuinely isn’t the right fit, we’ll say so.
Can I update the website myself afterwards?
Yes. We build in WordPress precisely so you’re not dependent on us for every small change, and we’ll show you how. When you’d rather hand the upkeep over, our care plans cover it.
Do you work with businesses beyond your local area?
We do. We’re based in Blofield Heath, just east of Norwich, and work with businesses right across Norfolk and Suffolk — plenty of our clients aren’t next door at all. Wherever you are, the way we work is the same.
Let’s build something that supports real growth, not just a new design.
